I am excited about the opportunity to serve FBC St. Simons as the interim youth minister. We have a wonderful group of kids, parents, and volunteers that are ready to continue to seek the will of God for their lives. On Monday July 8, we had a parent and youth volunteer meeting. During this meeting, we focused on the many ways we can share God’s love with the youth in our church and throughout the community. We also began to look at the addition of many fun filled and spiritual development focused trips and activities. Make sure you pay attention to the lifeline and other communications over the coming weeks to see what is in store for our youth!

This Sunday night the youth will be having a cookout at Neptune Park. We will meet at the church at 5:00 p.m. and return to the church at 7:00 p.m. This will be a time of food, games, and discipleship. I am looking forward to seeing all of you there!
