Associate and Youth Minister

Pastor Justin came to FBC in July 2014 as the Minister to Youth. Later, missions/outreach was added to his responsibilities. He and his wife, Ellie have two awesome boys together, Micah and Lewis. When not spending time with his family and working, Justin considers himself a “jack of all trades” type of guy. He enjoys reading (anything from children’s books or Harry Potter to Dietrich Bonhoeffer, C.S. Lewis, or anything else he finds interesting), playing guitar, getting outside, sports (specifically basketball), photography, building things, wearing bow ties and thinks Netflix qualifies as a hobby.

Justin’s belief is that transformation occurs most effectively when it happens within the context of significant relationships. He takes pleasure in participating in the lives of young people and considers his mission with them to be a partnership with God and their parents, aimed at fostering a lasting faith in their lives. A crucial aspect of this process is an emphasis on the manifestation of God’s kingdom “on earth as it is in heaven,” which serves as the focal point of his mission.
